NEURON runs entirely inside your browser. No data — not your prompts, your documents, your conversations, or your device information — is ever transmitted to any server. There is no backend. There is no database. There is no analytics.
NEURON is a Progressive Web Application (PWA) that provides AI-powered chat and document analysis entirely within your web browser. All language model inference is performed locally on your device using WebGPU and WebAssembly technology. NEURON does not operate any servers that process user content.

All locally stored data can be deleted at any time using the Clear App Data button inside the application, or through your browser's built-in storage management settings.
NEURON does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or data-processing services.
AI model weights are downloaded from MLC AI's public CDN (huggingface.co) on first use. This download is a standard HTTPS file transfer. The CDN provider may log your IP address as part of normal server operations, subject to their own privacy policy. NEURON has no control over or access to these logs.
If you access NEURON through a hosting provider such as Vercel, that provider's standard access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL) may be retained per their own privacy policy.
NEURON does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because no personal data is collected, NEURON is structurally compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
Because NEURON does not collect or store any personal data on external servers, there is no personal data held by us to access, correct, export, or delete. All data stored locally on your device is fully under your control at all times.
